5 out of 5 stars Wonderful Gruffalo   July 23, 2010
A. L. Backhouse (Hants, England)
Having seen this at Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed it, I bought the book to read to my 3-year-old grandson, who loved it. Then bought the DVD, which he also adores. This has been so well done. Although the story has been expanded with more 'action', the spirit, rhymes and story of the book have been faithfully retained. Great stuff.

3 out of 5 stars Good Story but very short   July 1, 2010
Great story but I did not expect it to be so short. This is not a full feature movie. Just a story book really. 20 minutes.

5 out of 5 stars The gruffalo   June 22, 2010
S. John (Devon)
Brilliant, my 2 1/2yr old daughter loves this and would watch it daily if allowed. It's been fantastically made and very true to the book. It's also very entertaining for the adults watching it with her.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent voice acting and a very good story for young children.   June 22, 2010
Dragonlord (Cornwall)
The Gruffalo features the voices of these fantastic actors: Robbie Coltrane as the Gruffalo, Helena Bonham Carter as the narrator, Rob Brydon as the Snake, James Corden as the Mouse, John Hurt as the Owl and Tom Wilkinson as the Fox. The story of The Gruffalo has been a childrens favourite for many years now and I'm so glad that they have done such a brilliant job on this computer animation cartoon. My five year old daughter is a big fan of the book and enjoys this short film too.

5 out of 5 stars Absolutely love this!   June 21, 2010

This is my favourite DVD and I am the mummy! I can't believe they managed to make the fabulous storey come alive as they did. It is a joy to watch and the whole family love it.
